Flirting may not be my cup of tea…

So I was flirting with this guy I know, I’ve always known he existed but we’ve recently become good friends. My ideal type of flirting is more of,”you’re a nice human. There should be more humans like you” or like “you’re like a bowl of soup, hot”
So I think that explains to you how much I suck at flirting. But with him, I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of it, because in the midst of my conversation with him about thoughts, I just so happened to say this…
“I think you know very well sire. My thoughts are something beyond your control, provoke them if you must, they tend to get creative.” I don’t think I realized how sexual it sounded until after I said it. But come on, I tried. It can’t have been that bad?!
How to people manage to be so witty and so flirtatious? Like I’m just here being a couch potato and giving up on the entire idea of love, all thanks to food and television. Every time someone actually manages to flirt with me and get me interested, I just smile like a butthole and cover my head under a blanket until I have to come out because of shortage of air. Huh.
Regards,
Still confused.

Flirting isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. When I was single and flirted, it got me no where. Now, I’m a olderly wiseguy just trying to be funny and I get accused of flirting. Hmmmm…my wife usually just tells people not to take my flirting serious because in reality, I’m harmless. Oh yeah? What if I don’t want to be harmless? Nevermind…

    1. Hahahah well, you might wanna listen to your wife, because damn those women can be harmful, even if your flirting isn’t.

No one is good a flirting. It just sorta happens. Kind of “off the cuff” type of remarks that leave the other person knowing there’s a spark, but no heat as of yet. However, it does lead to more exchanges until one of you finally makes a physical move.

Also, don’t give up on love just yet…it’s out there. Keep your head above the covers and let it find you. πŸ˜‰

    1. That sounds quite interesting. I’d love to, however I must wait a few days until my exams elapse, if that’s alright?
